Department Overview
The TD Enterprise Testing Centre - GAML (Global Anti-Money Laundering) Operations and Technology Testing Team is comprised of approximately 15 testing professionals, (including 3 Managers) that perform regulatory and policy compliance testing of the GAML Operations and systems supporting the operations.
Job Requirements
- University degree or equivalent work experience
- 10+ years of experience in audit, AML and business experience is required
- CAMS designation will be an asset; CISA designation will be an asset
- Advanced knowledge of testing standards, systems, procedures, laws, rules, regulations, controls, communication channels and reporting requirements
- Strong interpersonal skills to facilitate working with business unit GAML advisory, senior management, and business partners at all levels
- Demonstrated time management and organizational skills to meet tight deadlines as well as flexibility to adapt to changing priorities that are in alignment with GAML goals
- Ability to contribute to strategic direction of the testing function and provide advice to senior leadership
- Demonstrated skills in conflict resolution, strong intuitive judgment and negotiation/influencing skills, flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities

Job Description
Reporting to the Associate Vice President, Enterprise Testing Centre, the Senior Manager, ETC - GAML Operation and Technology Testing will Oversee and develop team(s) of analysts and/or managers conducting independent testing on behalf of our control partners to meet regulatory and internal requirements. The position will provide guidance, leadership, coaching, and development to achieve desired operational results and professional/personal development objectives for the overall group. The position also provides assistance /expertise to other testing teams or Leadership as appropriate.
The job primarily oversees the testing of GAML Operations units such as FIU and Sanctions and supporting technology assets owned by GAML.
Key accountabilities include the following:
- Develop GAML technology Testing program in collaboration with GAML stakeholders
- Identify opportunities for integrated engagements between GAML Operations and technology assets for "end to end" reviews
- Managing and mentoring a team of testing professionals, including three Managers, engaged in GAML Operations and technology testing
- Acting as the team's subject matter expert on testing and monitoring methodology
- Monitoring the progress of all the phases of the assigned testing engagements; including planning, fieldwork and reporting, to ensure that they are on track and on budget
- Provide overall strategic direction to support the Testing Program, Procedures, and processes so that they stay current with established standards and regulatory expectations
- Act as a subject matter expert and strategic advisor by providing guidance on issues to management, business units, and respective teams for area of specialization
- Support relationships (in accordance with ETC Interaction Model) with key partners to effectively manage and clarify scope of accountabilities while influencing and aligning others as needed
- Provide functional/business level communications to stakeholders and/or leaders that are consistent, appropriate, and aligned with strategic direction
- Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement in the Testing Program
- Lead relationships with business lines/corporate and/or control functions to promote alignment with enterprise and/or regulatory requirements
- Assess/identify key issues and escalate to management where required
