What is the opportunity?
As the Senior Manager, Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the annual marketing and brand strategy to promote RBC Wealth Management Asia and help facilitate stronger relationships with clients and prospects.
What will you do?
- Provide the business with guidance and enablement on marketing opportunities, ideas and branding activities.
- Work strategically in the development, management, execution, and communication of a robust calendar of marketing tactics across all channels, including content and thought leadership, sponsorships, events, advertising, collateral, email marketing, web communications and promotions.
- Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, using data to gain insights, track progress to goals, and optimize accordingly.
- Support the regular development of content on wealth management topics for our public-facing corporate website.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and strong relationships with regional business leaders, product groups and owners, members of the marketing team and corporate communications group.
- Work as a key member of the global Wealth Management Marketing team to support the business, promote our product offering and build the Wealth Management brand in Asia.
- Ad hoc support of RBC Capital Markets APAC Brand & Marketing activities.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
- 5+ years of experience, particularly in marketing strategy and execution with a sound understanding of finance, wealth management, business, investments, etc.
- Proven experience in marketing, particularly in the development and delivery of marketing strategies and multi channel campaigns.
- This role requires proof-reading English-Chinese translation of written content, proficiency in written Traditional Chinese or Simplified Chinese is essential.
- Excellent relationships management and partnership development capabilities and skills.
- Able to manage effectively as a member of a global team across multiple time zones.
- Excellent presentation, interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills particularly with senior executives.
- Good analytical skills and strong creative problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage conflicting priorities, excellent project management, leadership skills and attention to detail.
- Bachelor's degree preferably in Marketing or Business.
