The Senior Manager OA Engineer position is focused on providing an excellent experience to our customers through fully understanding their requirements and working collaboratively with the technical architects, project management, and development teams to develop and implement solutions to meet the customers’ needs. Further, this position is expected to be an advocate for the quality of Blend360 services to our customers, leveraging and/or integrating with new QA products/technologies, and providing mentorship to develop junior QA engineers within Blend 360.
Responsibilities
- Lead and Mentor junior resources
- Coordinating with the development team to identify any potential issues in the design or development process that may impact the quality of the final product.
- Set the standards for testing practices.
- Work on innovation. Lead QA team on test automation solutions.
- Creating detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
- Estimating, prioritizing, planning, and coordinating testing activities
- Play an active role in leading team meetings and workshops with clients.
- Lead in architecture and design activities.
- Evaluate business needs and objectives.
- Seek alternative technology solutions to problems
- Explore ways to enhance data quality and reliability
- Collaborate with Data engineers, Architects, data scientists and business analysts
- 5-10 Years of Experience
- Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, IT, or similar field
- 3 - 6 Years of Experience as a QA engineer or similar role
- Deep understanding of at least one object orientated library (Python, Scala, Java). Should be at a minimum fluent in reading and understanding the Scala code.
- Strong SQL skills and a good understanding of existing SQL warehouses and relational databases.
- General interest in technology, ability to learn and adapt new technology and changing requirements.
- Experience in coordinating technical activities in conjunction with engineering, and project management leadership.

The starting pay range for this role is $145 - $175k. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent on several factors including but not limited to skill set and experience, certifications, training, and location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range and determining factors for compensation are considered for each individual circumstance.
