Western Canada is looking for an extremely capable Senior Recruiter to support the rapid pace of growth at KPMG. We are searching for someone with solid technical recruitment acumen, with an ability to work independently, while remaining solutions oriented in providing a strategic approach to recruiting the very best talent. A strong ability to develop relationships internally and with candidates, while working in a dynamic environment - with a diverse range of teams, will be some key drivers of success in this role.
The National Management Consulting Recruitment team is involved in designing high-impact teams by partnering with our business at every stage of the hiring process. We believe in creative and innovative approaches to candidate engagement while never losing sight of our deep care for candidate experience, diversity and inclusion.
We are looking for an experienced Senior Recruiter to build and expand our presence in Western Canada across multiple disciplines and business lines.
The successful candidate for this role will be passionate about people and curious about how they thrive and grow in their workplace, their careers and their lives.
What you will do:- Growing our Management Consulting practice by hiring top talent
- Execute recruitment strategy, including actively networking and creating strong long-term relationships with prospective talent and organizations.
- Develop comprehensive talent maps and pipelines, via best-in-class direct sourcing and candidate generation techniques incorporating an inclusive and diverse approach.
- Work closely with the business throughout the search process to provide consistent communication and incredible client service.
- Develop prospects into candidates, engaging them and performing assessments/screening while providing an exceptional, high-touch candidate experience.
- Participate in debriefs and presenting/negotiating employment offers on behalf of leaders.
- Coach hiring managers to continuously improve their talent acquisition capabilities.
- Undergraduate degree
- 3-5 years of experience in recruitment.
- Recruitment experience in a professional services environment would be considered an asset.
- Strong analytical ability with a data curious nature and ability to provide meaningful insights to stakeholders.
- Experience building and expanding the digital recruitment function and pool of a fast-changing industry.
- Collaboration, communication and listening skills.
- The ability to excel working with a high degree of autonomy.
