Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Under general supervision, assists in managing fiber optic projects related to reservoir diagnostics.
• Provides technical and operational expertise to customers in a professional manner.
• Assists in coordinating project activities across functional groups.
• Professionally communicates with internal and external customers as presentation delivery is a significant portion of this role.
• Job tasks, properly completed, impact directly on cost containment, efficiency, or profitability of operations.
• Consequences of error are easily measured and can be confined.

Qualifications:

• Skills acquired through completion of an undergraduate degree in Engineering or a related math or science discipline, and 2 -7 years of related experience in the oil and gas industry.
• Strong customer and technical communication skills highly preferred.
• Ideal candidate possess experience in fiber optics either as an engineer or analyst.
• Experience hydraulic fracturing operations, SAGD instrumentation and oilfield fiberoptics would be considered an asset.
