As a part of the Planning team, your purpose istomaximize guest demand by realizing the full potential of our inventory. Reporting directly to the Director of merchandise planning, you are responsible for category sales targets, markdowns, gross margin, turn and open to buy management, for both pre-season plans and in-season management.As a Senior Planner, yourexpertiseiscalledon tomentorandguidethe surroundingplanningteamthrough strategicworkflow plans to execute deliverables.You are an essential part of the cross functional team collaboratingwith merchandising, allocationsand sourcing. You have razorsharp attention to detail but also able tothink big picture.

- PrepareandparticipateinMerchandiseReviewmeetings
- Reconciletopsdowncategoryfinancialplanstobottomsupstyle-colourlevelplans
- Support the financial success of the brand by meeting sales, comp,gross margin, maintained margin and inventory turn goals
- Recommendseasonalmerchandiseflowstrategiesthatmaximizesales,profitabilityandcustomerexpectations
- Analyzehistorical dataandcurrenttrendstoidentifyrisksandopportunities tobusinessandrecommend strategiestoachievefinancial goals;conduct hindsight analysistoincorporate learnings intocurrent andfuture plans
- Provide support to Merchandisingto actively manage product assortmentthroughoutthe season (inventory, MDs, etc.)
- Exhibitinitiativetolookbeyondtheeverydaybusinesstolookforopportunitiestomaximizesalespotential
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of merchandise planning experience in the apparel industry [vertical retailer experience preferred], including 2+ years experience leading others.
- Omnichannelexperiencehighly desirable.
- Proven track-record of driving results; demonstrationof strong financial & business acumen for inventory management.
- Strongabilitytoseethemerchandisevisionandtranslatethevisionintoviableplans.
- Provenabilitytoworkinafast-pacedenvironmentandmanagemultipleprojectssimultaneously
- Previousexperiencewithmerchandiseplanning/inventorymanagementsystems.
- ExpertskillsinMicrosoftExcel.
