What you will be doing:
Tangerine is looking for a motivated and strategically-minded Senior Product Owner to drive the development of our next generation Client Onboarding experience. 
Reporting to the Director, Product Experience, you will be responsible for defining, managing and optimizing key areas of Client Onboarding journey and play a pivotal role in enhancing the overall customer experience. You will lead and inspire an agile team, and work in close collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver high quality innovative product features, user centric solutions, and seamless customer interactions.
 
Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:
•    Develop the vision and roadmap for owned areas, and create/maintain a detailed product backlog; end-to-end ownership of Client Onboarding including ID verification, Product Enrollment & Funnel conversion. 
•    Apply incremental delivery principles, drive the delivery of business value, communicate progress, elicit feedback and enable stakeholder reviews for validation in the process
•    Play a leadership role in the delivery team you are leading to ensure that high quality and creative solutions are implemented for challenging problems
•    Facilitate creative problem solving on a day-to-day basis no matter the circumstances, working closely with development on implementation challenges, turning ambiguity into clarity in a fast-paced environment
•    Engage and partner with key stakeholders to support common understanding and vision across the organization
•    Communicate with the business stakeholders and take responsibility for building “the right thing”
•    Use KPIs and digital product metrics to inform the team’s direction
•    Lead cross-functional teams to conceptualize, define and implement new features
•    Author, refine and approve backlog items, with clearly articulated “definitions of done” 
•    Prioritize user stories to best achieve business goals, ensuring sufficient depth of groomed items for development consumption and commitment
•    Ensure user stories are clearly defined and the team understands the scope and expectation of work
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? - We'd love to work with you if you have:
•    University or College degree 
•    7+ years related experience in digital product management or technical solution delivery 
•    3+ years working in an agile scrum team in a Product Owner capacity
•    Experience in working on Client Onboarding platforms is an asset. 
•    Design or BA experience is an asset
•    Working knowledge of software development lifecycle is an asset
•    An Agile “mindset” and the flexibility to adapt to new and evolving environments
•    Excellent delivery skills, with proven accomplishments leading cross-functional projects
•    Data-driven approach to problem solving to resolve complex issues and drive actionable outcomes
•    Deep passion for first class customer experiences, innovation and delivering software
•    A positive attitude, thirst for knowledge, team oriented, pragmatic, willing to fail
•    Enthusiastic, thorough, inclusive and results-oriented; ability and desire to help others thrive in a dynamic team-oriented environment.
•    Eager to mentor, teach, share and learn
