Role Overview
What you’ll do:
- Managing end-to-end deliveries, requirement gathering, release planning, effort tracking, design & development, testing and UAT support, deployment and project maintenance activities.
- Provide strong technology leadership to deliver high quality projects on time and within budget.
- Lead and direct large-scale, complex, cross-functional projects by reviewing project requirements; translating requirements into technical solutions.
- Understand requirements and able to prepare specifications and test Strategy documents.
- Liaising with Project Managers, Delivery Managers, Developers, Solution Architects, external stakeholders, including external Test Leads and Managers.
What you bring to the role:
Must have:
- Senior Project Manager with 15-18 years of experience in managing projects and teams in the insurance domain.
- Manage expectations with stakeholders and resources uniformly.
- Provide strong technology leadership to deliver high quality projects on time and within budget.
- Experience managing QA activities across multiple workstreams leading, prioritising, escalating, supporting, coaching and mentoring.
- Knowledge of the different life cycle development models and methodologies used to develop large software intensive platforms.
- Experience in working Onshore/Offshore models.
- Domain expertise in Insurance and 5+ years of experience working in the Group Retirement area.
