What is the opportunity?
Reporting to the Director, Strategic Delivery PMO - You would be responsible for end-to-end full project life cycle delivery and ownership of assigned strategic initiatives. Successful project delivery will include full implementation from initiation to deployment for one major or several minor initiatives simultaneously. You will manage all aspects of multiple related projects to ensure the overall program is aligned to and directly supports the achievement of strategic objectives for Global Cybersecurity at RBC. This role develops the detailed work packages, schedules, budgets, identifies the necessary resources and provides regular updates and communications to stakeholders/sponsors. You would also oversee and manage each project deliverable including vendor related deliverables for quality and completion.
What will you do?
Serve as a single point of accountability for oversight and direct signoff on significant programs within Global Cyber Security
Establish, develop, and maintain strong relationships with Sponsors, Stakeholders, RBC and subsidiary business and T&O partners
Champion strong program/project governance and execution assurance processes
Ensure risk assessments are completed and that contingency plans are identified and executed
Prepare program roadmap, project, and/or implementation plans to align with executive approval
Manage overall program financials and track value for effective decision making
Establishes and refines processes for the identification of program/project issues. Resolves complex issues and escalates to steering committee and manages resolution as required
Manage program scope using appropriate fact-based metrics/assumptions and defines KPI's to report on benefit realization for tracking value and performance on business case
Provide consulting and guidance on project initiatives including business case preparation and developing creative/alternative approaches to problem resolution
Manages project scope/requirements changes, multiple and competing demands and priorities determining and conveying impact on budget, time and risk using appropriate fact-based metrics/assumptions

Promote innovative or improved methods to get the work done and implements best practices
Accountable for the successful delivery of all projects in the assigned program stream including all aspects of each project (e.g. requirements, design, build, test, deploy, change, communication and adoption)
Responsible for SOW definition and finalization with external parties
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have:
10 years’ progressive IT project-related experience with extensive Identity Access Management experience
Experience managing projects with high level of value (benefit/cost), and a high level of complexity and uncertainty
Extensive Relationship Management and Vendor management experience
Strong leadership, diplomatic and motivational skills including the ability to lead up, across and down multiple business and technology organizations
Excellent leadership, communication (written, verbal and presentation) and interpersonal skills
Experience preparing plans for interdependencies and multiple stakeholders
Knowledge of formal Project Management methodologies
Nice-to-have:
Undergraduate degree Business/ IT / Engineering (preferred)
PMP/CISSP certification or equivalent (preferred)
Experience implementing Identity & Privileged Access Management applications such as Azure Active Directory (AD), SailPoint, Okta, and CyberArk.
Experience managing projects in the IT Risk/Security space
