We are currently seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our team in Vancouver, British Columbia (CA-BC), Canada (CA).

You also help our clients:
-Establish standardized project management methodologies aligned to Project Management Institute (PMI) best practices
-Implement and use planning and management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira or others
-Define, implement and realize benefits from consistent auditing, monitoring and reporting of projects in alignment to strategic objectives
-Mentor, train and coach other PMs and teams
-Develop and maintain project on boarding materials for clients

Once You Are Here, You Will:
-Plan, execute, monitor, control, and close projects
-Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, milestones, and success criteria in collaboration with project sponsors, stakeholders, and team members
-Develop and maintain detailed project plans using appropriate tools and methodologies, such as Microsoft Project, Agile, Scrum, etc.
-Manage project resources, budget, schedule, quality, risk, issues, and changes using best practices and standards
-Ensure projects adhere to our clients’ privacy and security requirements
-Communicate project status, progress, issues, and risks to project sponsors, stakeholders, and team members on a regular basis
-Coordinate and facilitate project meetings, workshops, reviews, and presentations
-Ensure project deliverables meet the requirements and expectations of the project sponsors and stakeholders
-Conduct project closure activities, such as lessons learned, documentation, handover, etc.
-Manage the planning, requirements, design, construction, testing, and maintenance of application modernization projects across a wide range of technology platforms
-Manage engagement scope and client expectations
-Manage the successful completion of projects, adhering to schedules, budgets and resource availability
-Conduct proactive appraisal of team deliverables against statements of work
-Develop and foster collaborative working relationships with clients
-Manage teams with members from several organizations, including NTT DATA, the client, and other vendors
-Contributing to the continuous improvement of project delivery methods, techniques, processes, and practices
-Support project procurement activities such as RFP development, response evaluations and vendor selection
 
Required Qualifications:
-Recent experience setting up at least two Project Management Offices at a large organization, preferably but not limited to the Public Sector
-Experience running 2 -3 concurrent projects, and of working in settings where multiple parallel projects are underway
-Experience delivering at least one multi-year transformation project with a total contract value - $2M
-Experience leading project teams of at least 6 resources
-8-10 years of related Project Management experience
-5+ years’ experience in a client-facing Project Management role
-5+ years’ experience applying PMI’s PMBOK pragmatically to specialized software development engagements
-5+ years’ experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
-PMP designation
-Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and work experience
 
Preferred:
-Familiarity with consulting service-based delivery
-Experience with program-level management and establishing program oversight

Location: Remote candidates located in  western Canada can be considered for this role. BC applicants preferred. Some travel may be required.
