Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Property Accountant to join our team. As a Senior Property Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the financial records and transactions related to our properties. This is a key role in our organization, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
Duties:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for multiple properties
- Perform bank reconciliations and account reconciliations
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting for property expenses
- Conduct financial audits to ensure compliance with accounting standards
- Process payroll for property staff
- Utilize accounting software (such as Xero) to maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with property managers and other stakeholders to resolve any financial issues or discrepancies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Proven experience as a Property Accountant or similar role
- Strong knowledge of corporate finance principles and accounting practices
- Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office Suite
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Potential for ownership through a buy-in arrangement.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $65,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
