This position can be based remotely anywhere in the Canada or the United States.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Recruit highly qualified talent for corporate leadership and support roles; recruit project management and technical support positions for small to large construction projects located across the United States. (Including Water, Geo/Geo Technical professionals at all levels)
  • Manage the full cycle recruiting and hiring process in an efficient and effective manner, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection of candidate and conduct reference checks.
  • Fully utilize applicant tracking system for effective recruiting and affirmative action compliance.
  • Interview prospective employees and hire in accordance with applicable local, state and federal hiring regulations.
  • As appropriate, direct significant recruiting efforts to minority, female, veteran, and disabled organizations and to training programs and schools that have minority, female, veteran, or disabled students.
  • Receive and fill approved open positions from hiring managers in a timely and responsive manner, coordinating with the Recruiting team.
  • Build strong relationships with all hiring management teams.
  • Utilize a clear approval process with all hiring managers to ensure there is no overlap or redundant open positions.
  • Prioritize hiring and utilize the employee referral program and internal applicants.
  • Utilize job boards, social media, and other sourcing tools to effectively advertise and recruit candidates.
  • Maintain accurate interviewing/hiring records by entering data into Applicant Tracking System in accordance with company policies.
  • Assist other recruiters in critical or difficult hiring needs and have the capability to work in a team to accomplish the overall hiring efforts of Worley.
  • Maintain contact and establish positive communications with employees on site, and with past and potential employees.
  • Travel and actively recruit college, military, and technical conferences for interns and full time hires.
  • Become involved in industry associations and symposiums to further build relationships with potential talent.
  • Establish strong connections to the business. Be the business partner to all service lines and divisions. Provide Management recommendations by utilizing familiarity and experience and providing key recommendations on employee relations, compensation, employee retention, recognition, and training programs.

For applicants based in the province of British Columbia, the salary range is $110,000 to $135,000
Application of the pay band: Variation in salary is determined by factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, relevant years of experience, geographic location, internal pay equity, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) and extensive recruiting or human resources experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Water, Environmental, Carbon Capture, Blue/Green Hydrogen and other renewable industry experience is a must
  • Experience in full cycle recruiting, sourcing and employment branding.
  • Understanding of all selection methods and techniques.
  • Proficient in the use of social media and job boards.
  • Working knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and databases.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and practices
  • Respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies or members of the business community.
  • Ability to market and sell the company’s employee value proposition.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and maintaining professional contacts.
  • Possess effective interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to all levels of management and employees.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize to meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Experience developing and utilizing behavioral based interviewing techniques.
  • Functional knowledge of Federal and State Human Resources/Recruiting regulations.
  • Effectively present information to top management, employees and/or executives
  • Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high-volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
