about this team
The team is responsible for delivering the capabilities supporting ESG reporting, related platform and engineering services, building pipelines and supporting engineering platforms for information delivery. As the Senior Technology Manager you will work with some of the most interesting data sets, use cutting edge methodologies, and be a part of a growing team.
a day in the life
You will be viewed as a strong technical leader with project delivery, team leadership, architecture and analytics engineering skills. Your background will include a proven track record of leading and scaling analytics engineering teams, strong communication and collaborative skills, significant track record of product ownership, and a strong vision to build and support all platforms for information delivery/reporting.
- Drive the vision and platform engineering for all initiatives around ESG and reporting platforms.
- Define the processes needed to achieve and sustain operational excellence including project delivery and system integrity.
- Build, lead and scale an exceptionally talented team of engineers.
- Manage the engineering team providing technical expertise in design, build and launch of new data models/pipelines, reporting/analytics platform ownership.
- Partnering with analytics, project management and business leadership to implement the optimal Data/BI solutions.
- Define and manage cost/budgets, security, administration, access/authorization, performance optimizations/tuning, escalation, and support models.
- Rapid prototyping/POC’ing of new concepts and innovation ideas using data, Machine Learning.
qualifications
- 10+ years experience in analytics engineering (data and reporting).
- Experience managing and building geographically distributed teams and vendor management
- Data and Reporting systems architecture, Project management experience.
- Track record of successfully solving various business problems and handling scalability issues for ELT/ETL platforms, reporting/Information Delivery
- Experience with large scale implementations of cloud data systems, deep knowledge of Power BI/(Equivalent BI tools).
- Experience with ESG reporting and Retail industry
- Experience with scripting languages like Python and low code/RPA solutions.
- Experience with Azure ecosystem products.
- Understanding of non functional attributes of systems and developing solutions to meet them.

compensation and benefits package
lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $134,100 - $176,000 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
