SalaryCalabogie Peaks is seeking a dynamic and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Server and Rental Attendant. This position combines serving customers in our food outlet with managing the rental operations for kayaks, canoes, and golf clubs. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take customer orders and serve food and beverages promptly and accurately.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns.
- Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of the dining area and food outlet.
- Assist customers in renting kayaks, canoes, and golf clubs, providing instructions and guidance as needed.
- Handle transactions, including collecting fees and maintaining accurate records.
- Conduct equipment inspections to ensure their safety and functionality.
- Assist customers in selecting appropriate equipment and provide basic instructions for usage.
- Coordinate with other staff members to ensure availability and proper maintenance of rental equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Uphold and promote a positive and professional image of Calabogie Peaks.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety and customer service.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve departmental goals.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience in customer service roles, preferably in the food service industry and/or outdoor recreation rentals.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and ability to handle transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of kayaking, canoeing, and golfing is preferred but not required.
- Flexibility to work in both indoor and outdoor settings, depending on operational needs.
- Availability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as required.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering exceptional customer service.
EDUCATION:
- High school diploma is an asset.
- Smart Serve Certificate is an asset.
- Experience serving food and beverages is an asset.
- Experience working with boats (kayaks, canoes, paddle boards) is an asset.
- Experience working at a golf club is an asset.

Contract length: 16 weeks
Salary: $16.00-$17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
