If you are looking for a Fun Summer adventure that gets you out of the city... we are seeking someone with experience working in a restaurant/kitchen environment, who is also interested in doing 1-2 hours of housekeeper per day.
Approximate Dates: May 19 - Aug 1
Location: Hawk Lake Lodge (30 min east of Kenora, right off Hwy 17)
We are a drive-in lodge but if you do not have a car, we can pick you up from the Kenora bus station or Kenora airport.
Employment Type: Full Time (~45hr/week, working 6 days a week)
Hawk Lake Lodge is a 5-star Fishing Resort that provides guests with an all-inclusive American plan. Join our team of 15 other staff, which includes chefs, dockhands/fishing guides, and other waitress/housekeepers.
Working with the kitchen team, the typical morning shift is from 7:00-9:00, followed by housekeeping duties from 9:00-11:00. And then another shift for dinner (5:30-7:30).
Kitchen duties: Primary role will be working with the team to serve, bus and wash the dishes during breakfast and dinner service and to help clean and wash guest picnic lunch packs. Occasionally other roles, such as packing lunches may be available if interested.
Housekeeping duties: working with the team, providing housekeeping for the guest-cabins, which are in excellent condition. You would assist with changing out the towels and twin bed linens as needed, cleaning the bathroom and kitchenette, basic tidying, dusting, and vacuuming. Typically, you will be assigned 1-3 cabins per day. Assist with washing the towels and linens. On rotation, you may be required to do basic cleaning of common areas such as the gym or game room.
Working an average of 45/hr week
