Duties:
- Greeting and seating customers in a friendly and timely manner
- Taking food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
- Delivering orders to tables in a prompt and courteous manner
- Providing excellent customer service throughout the dining experience
- Upselling menu items and promoting specials
- Handling cash transactions and processing payments
- Collaborating with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food
- Clearing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area
- Assisting with opening and closing duties as assigned
Skills:
- Strong hospitality skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Basic math skills for accurate order taking and cash handling
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or similar setting is preferred
- Proficient in upselling techniques to increase sales revenue
- Cashiering experience is a plus
- Exceptional customer service skills to provide a positive dining experience for guests
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: From $16.55 per hour
