Overview:
As a server at our restaurant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. You are the face of our establishment, responsible for delivering high-quality service and ensuring customer satisfaction. Your main goal is to create a unique experience by guiding our guests through “The Bartola Journey”.
Your friendly demeanor, attention to detail, and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment contribute to the success of our restaurant.
- Staff you need to report to: Restaurant Manager and Floor Supervisor on shift.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly and assist them in making menu selections.
- Provide attentive and personalized service throughout the dinner.
- Address any customer inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests and input them into the POS system.
- Ensure all orders are delivered to the kitchen accurately and in a timely manner.
- Communicate special requests or dietary restrictions such as allergies to the kitchen staff and assuring the menu items that can be deliver to the guest.
- Set up tables according to restaurant standards before service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables and dining areas.
- Monitor and anticipate guest needs, such as refilling beverages or clearing plates.
- Monitor alcohol consumption and ensure responsible service to prevent over-intoxication.
- Communicate and work closely with team members to provide a seamless service.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to address any issues or concerns.
- Participate in training sessions and staff meetings to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
- Suggest additional items or specials to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
Qualifications.
- English required and Spanish preferred.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to providing exceptional service.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Knowledge of Mexican food and beverage menus, including ingredients and preparation methods.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to changing restaurant policies and procedures.
- Smart Serve required.

Salary: From $16.55 per hour
