The Position - A Professional Opportunity to Join a Dynamic Team
We are looking for a high energy individual excited about becoming a key member of our Engineering and Public Works team that is responsible for coordinating and implementing the strategic objectives in the City’s Service Delivery Management Strategy. This includes creation and maintenance of a corporate wide Service Delivery Management Plan as well as guiding and supporting the creation of asset specific Asset Management Plans. This position also provides a key role supporting the City’s environmental and sustainability initiatives including leadership on Council committees/task forces, policy creation, implementation and education as well as research and best practices for environmental protection projects.
The ideal candidate will be a Professional Engineer or a Certified Professional Accountant (CPA) with municipal experience and knowledge of asset management practices, climate mitigation / adaptation, risk management, sustainability practices and long-term planning.
