B&G sources as much of its menu from out East as possible to bring you tasteful tributes, genuine flavours and all the classics! From the OG Halifax Donair and Garlic Fingers, to the Mini Lobster Rolls and Chips, it’s all washed down with your choice of craft beer or cocktails.
B&G was founded by a group of passionate Canadians with a bold vision: to salute the spirited roots of Halifax with fellow Maritimers and share this beloved experience of food, drink, music and culture with the rest of Canada.
Service Manager Duties & Responsibilities;
- Maintain our fun, positive and respectful culture while keeping team members on task with their responsibilities (100% Responsibility / 0 Excuses)
- Have a passion for providing exceptional guest experiences & East Coast Hospitality!
- Assist GM and AGM in hiring, onboarding, training and coaching our team members
- Execute & maintain an elite room
- Adhere to all B&G policies and procedures
- Manage the floor and pre-shift all FOH staff, make cuts, deal with discounts, voids and guest complaints
- Build a schedule for the FOH team and approve shift swaps & time off requests
- Complete assigned ordering on a weekly basis
- Understand and embrace the B&G culture and values
- Perform daily cashouts, paying out tips to the team and ensure the float is balanced
- Ensure takeout and delivery partner orders are properly set, accepted, packaged, and completed
- Attend all manager meetings
- Drive marketing initiatives and help AGM and GM with marketing calendar
- Weekly communication on updates, reminders, and other important messages to the team
- Assist the bar team with their ordering and PAR levels

Through our customized training programs our partners learn about leadership, providing exceptional guest experiences and culinary excellence.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Salary: $17.00-$21.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Supplemental pay types:
- Tips
Experience:
- Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
