Service Technician - New Store Opening In Whitby

What You’ll Do;
Team Town Sports is gearing up for an adrenaline-pumping season as we kick off our newest retail store in Whitby. We're recruiting an exceptional Service Technician to join our team. Within this role, you will be responsible for creating an environment that delivers an excellent customer experience while assessing and providing recommendations on maintaining and servicing our customers’ equipment. You will provide advice, solve equipment needs, and then set up and repair.
You will help uphold, foster, and live our core values while connecting the store with the local community.

• Complete Hockey equipment repairs including skate sharpening, profiling, holder and runner installation, and gear repairs.
• Maintain all shop equipment and service area.
• Provide appropriate quotes for services provided.
• Ensure all required documentation is complete and signed prior to releasing equipment to the customer.
• Stay up to date on new equipment and fitting and maintenance techniques.

• Previous customer service experience is an asset.
• Previous Service Shop experience is an asset.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and an ability to build trust.
