Service Technician - Pools & Hot Tubs

Ponds for People Leisurescapes is a Waterloo based swimming pool and hot tub company.

We are seeking a individual to join our team as a pool and hot tub Service Technician.

A successful candidate will be resourceful and have a interest in learning and developing their skills as a Service Technician. We will provide a training program covering all aspects of both pool and hot tub repairs and maintenance.

Duties

• Diagnosing and troubleshooting of pool and hot tub issues

• Repairs and replacements of pool and hot tub equipment
• Leak detections and repairs
• Liner measurements and replacements
• Safety cover measurements and installations
• Completing service documentation
• Maintaining inventory and supply levels
• Maintaining tools and equipment

Qualifications

• Prior Service Technician experience and/or basic plumbing, mechanical, or electrical knowledge is an asset
• Familiarity with basic hand and power tools is required.
• Must have good communication and customer service skills and be able to professionally represent the company in the field.
• Must be both a team player and able to work independently in the field.
• Must by reliable, trustworthy, and organized.
• Must be physically fit and able to complete physical work in all weather conditions
• Must possess a valid minimum G class drivers license and be insurable on the company's fleet policy.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 50 per week

Experience:

• Service Technician: 3 years (preferred)
• Pool and/or Hot Tub Service: 3 years (preferred)
