ServiceNow Business Analyst
 
Aversan Inc. (www.aversan.comis a reputable Engineering Company that provides expertise in Systems Integration and Software Testing for industries including Digital Health, Medical Devices, IT and Aerospace. We are currently seeking a qualified ServiceNow Business Analystto work on leading edge technology products. The successful candidate for this full-time position will be a part of a highly motivated and highly technical work environment that feeds off the collective energy of a team-oriented workplace.

DESCRIPTION – A ServiceNow Business Analyst plays a crucial role in leveraging the ServiceNow platform to enhance business processes and improve overall organizational efficiency.
 
Responsibilities
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and objectives.
Conduct workshops and interviews to gather detailed business process information.
Analysis and Documentation:
  • Analyze existing business processes and systems to identify areas for improvement.
  • Document detailed business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories.
ServiceNow Platform Expertise:
  • Develop a deep understanding of the ServiceNow platform and its capabilities.
  • Stay up to date with the latest ServiceNow features and functionalities.
Solution Design:
  • Work closely with technical teams to design solutions that align with business requirements.
  • Create ServiceNow configurations and workflows to meet business needs.
User Acceptance Testing (UAT):
  • Collaborate with business users to define test cases and conduct UAT.
  • Ensure that the implemented solutions meet business expectations.
Continuous Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in processes and ServiceNow configurations.
  • Provide recommendations for optimizing existing workflows and functionalities.
Communication:
  • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Provide regular updates on project progress, challenges, and resolutions.
Training and Support:
  • Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users.
  • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance.
Governance and Compliance:
  • Ensure that ServiceNow solutions adhere to organizational governance and compliance standards.
  • Collaborate with security and compliance teams to address any concerns.
Project Management:
  • Participate in project planning and execution.
  • Track and manage project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
Vendor Management:
  • Collaborate with ServiceNow vendors to understand product roadmaps and updates.
  • Evaluate and recommend third-party applications and integrations.
Reporting and Metrics:
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators.
  • Use data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

A successful ServiceNow Business Analyst possesses a blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and excellent communication skills. They play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business requirements and technical solutions, ultimately contributing to the successful implementation and optimization of ServiceNow within the organization.
 
Basic Qualifications
ServiceNow Platform Proficiency:
  • A ServiceNow Business Analyst should have a strong understanding of the ServiceNow platform.
