AddressFraser Valley Refrigeration is looking for a Sheet Metal Apprentice who is looking to grow in their career. This role would be working on commercial projects and residential mid-rise projects which are primarily located east of the Portman Bridge. We are looking for an apprentice with 2-5 years of experience, who has enough experience to hit the ground running and go on service calls.
Responsibilities
- Perform ductwork installations, repair, maintenance, and service individually, and as part of a team.
- Install Sheet Metal products according to specifications and building codes.
- Measure and order material as required.
- Complete required documentation (i.e. electronic timesheets, job reports etc.) for services performed.
- Work respectfully with other sub-trades and site super.
- Lay out, measure, and mark Sheet Metal.
- Install Sheet Metal products according to specifications and building codes.
- Inspect products to ensure quality and conformity to specifications.
- Provide services to both internal and external customers.
- Using hand and power tools including grinders, wire cutters, power drills, shears, etc.
Qualifications
- A proven systematic and organized approach to multitasking.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently to complete assigned tasks with minimum supervision.
- Professional and exceptional communication skills both written & oral.
- Sheet metal experience is preferred but not required
