SkipTheDishes is Canada's largest and most trusted food delivery network. We’re now hiring for Skip Express Lane, a new service that will bring customers local favourites, snacks, and everyday essentials in less than 25 minutes. We’re launching new fulfillment centers by mid-2022 from coast to coast and we’d like you to be part of our success! 

Ever wonder what it takes to power a network? Technology, ingenuity, grit, and a steady input of snacks. As a Shift Lead, you would operate independently of the Store Manager in the delegation of the daily duties to the Order Fulfilment team to accurately, organise, pack, and fulfil physical orders and prepare them for collection. 

You would be expected to assist the Store Manager in overseeing all facets of F

fulfilment center operations and ensure the completion of accurate, efficient fulfilment of orders.

Responsibilities of an Order Fulfillment Shift Lead:

  • Lead fulfilment centre activities and ensure inventory and performance targets are attained

  • Keyholder, with on-call ownership expectations for all facets of the fulfilment centre operations

  • Prepare vendor orders and submit them for store manager approval

  • Receive vendor orders and inventory sign off

  • Train staff and help to maintain sanitation and food quality standards.

  • Ensure and support a safe, healthy, and respectful workplace for all staff/vendors

  • Verifying orders to ensure they are correct before collection

  • Restock shelves and maintain a clean & organised warehouse

  • Perform various administration, inventory, customer service, and warehouse tasks as required

People we’re looking for:

  • Entrepreneurial spirit with an owner mindset

  • Ability to work independently in a warehouse setting

  • Detail oriented and able to complete orders efficiently and accurately

  • Must be able to work at least 32 hours per week, evenings and weekends will be required

  • Understanding of online order systems, computers , and tablets

  • Dependable/reliable and able to work flexible hours (Evenings/Weekends)

  • Minimum three years experience in a Lead Role in a warehouse/ delivery environment.

  • Must have access to a safe/reliable automobile
