Delta Fort Erie is seeking a part-time Session Manager with the opportunity to work full time hours in other roles.
Weekend and evening availability is a must.
Working under the direct supervision of the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading staff towards the shared goal of providing a top-quality gaming experience for every patron. You will manage the gaming floor, bingo sessions and the facility in a professional manner that is representative of Delta Bingo and Gaming’s customer service-oriented image. You will be responsible for ensuring bingo sessions are run in compliance with legislation governing the on-going operation of a bingo hall and work cooperatively with and maintain a positive partnership with the OLG and AGCO. This position is responsible for duties that include but are not limited to:
· Supervision of staff,
· Balancing cash sales, processing inventory returns, entering sales figures and calculating prize payouts,
· Addressing staff and customer concerns in a professional manner,
· Opening and closing the gaming centre,
· Work cooperatively with the OLG and AGCO, providing information in a timely and professional manner,
· Calling in equipment failures and following up with CG Support line,
· Ensure staff is present, accounted for and motivated to complete their shift,
· Verify financial reports and session paperwork after each bingo session,
· Balance cash, prepare deposits and manage department floats,
· Assist with planning, preparing and executing promotional events,
· Complete a variety of office related tasks,
· Understand and respond to customer inquiries,
· Oversee the gaming centre operation including equipment, parking lot, facility cleanliness, customer service and staff,
· Performing miscellaneous duties that might be asked of you by the Operations Manager,
· Providing a positive work environment and behave in a professional manner.
Required qualifications and skills include knowledge of cash handling and balancing of daily cash intake, strong math skills, exceptional customer service skills, good communication skills, good leadership and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Preferred certifications: SmartServe, Safe Food Handling and First Aid & CPR
