Order Picker/Material Handler

We are currently looking for an Shipper/Reciever/Material Handler to join our team.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Picking, packaging, wrapping, and strapping of customer orders
- Receiving of incoming goods
- Preparation of shipping documents
- Inventory and cycle counts
- General warehouse activities – cleaning and organizing of warehouse
- Communicating with other shippers in department on different shifts
- Ensure all work is performed according to procedures and work instructions
- Understand, follow, and enforce all Quality System procedures and work instructions
Health and Safety responsibilities
- Maintain housekeeping at an acceptable and organized level. This includes all workstations, floors, cleaning of tools and equipment, organizing and stacking of material
- Work in compliance with all company rules and regulations
- Follow all company Health and Safety policies and procedures
- Report all health and safety issues or observations of issues immediately
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 – 5 years’ experience in full cycle shipping and receiving, including cycle counts and inventory control
- 3 – 5 years’ experience in packaging, palletizing and skid wrapping
- 3 – 5 years’ experience in a continuous process manufacturing facility
- Basic computer skills with some data entry experience
- Possess manual dexterity, ability to lift > 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow workflow and schedule
- Regular and reliable attendance
- Must have transportation (not transit accessible)
Shifts:
Permanent, Full Time Position
Training will be Monday – Friday day shift, 6:00am – 2:30pm
Regular hours will be Monday – Friday, rotation of days and afternoons every 2 weeks, 6:00am – 2:30pm and 2:30pm – 11pm and 1 Saturday, day shift, every 4 – 5 weeks.
Rate of Pay
Depending on knowledge, skills, abilities, experiences both work and educational, the rate is $18.00 - $22.00/hour.
