```Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Receiving Manager to oversee our warehouse receiving operations. The Receiving Manager will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and efficient receipt of goods, organizing inventory, and managing a team of receiving associates. This is a critical role in our organization, as it directly impacts our ability to maintain inventory accuracy and meet customer demands.
Duties:
- Oversee all aspects of the receiving process, including unloading shipments, inspecting goods for quality and accuracy, and entering data into the inventory system
- Coordinate with the sales team team and management to schedule deliveries and resolve any issues or discrepancies
- Manage a small team of product packers, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate inventory transfers and resolve any inventory discrepancies and to ensure customer order are packed correctly and in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate records of received goods, including tracking serial numbers, lot numbers, and expiration dates
- Monitor inventory levels and identify opportunities for process improvement or cost savings
Experience:
- Previous experience in warehouse operations or inventory management is preffered, but not mandatory
- Moderate computer knowledge (excel, outlook, etc.)
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication and leadership abilities to effectively manage a team
