Shipping Receiving Administrator

DLF Canada /North America SBU is currently recruiting for a Shipping Receiving Administratorfor our DLF Canada Inc. Headquarters in Lindsay, Ontario. This position is seasonal/temporary to start however, this role could become permanent for the candidate that is meeting performance, attendance and motivation expectations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The Shipping and Receiving Administrator handles incoming and outgoing, product and product components. The position will assume responsibility for picking and printing orders as well as planning timely and efficient carrier transportation according to our shipping standards to deliver product to the customer.

Job duties include picking orders, posting orders, printing orders, keeping accurate records, keeping tracking spreadsheets updated, data administration & utilization of our Navision software program, arranging shipping and receiving carriers, assigning lot numbers, printing shipping labels, inspecting goods received for damage, processing returns as well as seed testing and certification administration.

Qualifications:

• Must have minimum 3 years’ experience in a shipping/receiving manufacturing environment
• Must be able to work well in a team atmosphere
• Must be able to meet deadlines
• Must have strong organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize daily activities
• Must have good interpersonal and communication skills are essential
• Working experience with data entry that requires attention to detail
• Working knowledge of Excel & Word & Navision software
• Strong math principles would be a definite asset
• Ability to work with all business units as a team

Compensation and Benefits:

This position comes with a competitive compensation plan and if the successful candidate is offered a permanent role it will include a base salary, benefits, Group RRSP option with company matching program. Compensation will be based on experience.
