40hr/week, 2 weeks vacation.

Organized Kaos Exists to apprentice young people in life and trade, inspiring hope and purpose. Creating a safe environment for young people to work and learn alongside trades people from local Churches.
Organized Kaos (OK) uses the trades as a medium for discipleship. We are looking to bring on a team member who believes in our vision and loves the work that comes with the Shop Coordinator role.
On the Organized Kaos team you will work alongside people who care about the work they do; this role is no except as you work alongside the volunteer trades people. The Shop Coordinator ensures volunteer trades mentors are set up for success. Having the right tools, materials, and environment to care for young people. The role of Shop Coordinator would allow mentors to walk into the shop, giving all their focus towards building relationships with students. The mentors and students will have the tools, materials, and environment allowing projects to be the medium for discipleship.
The Shop Coordinator builds relationships with mentors, plan projects with them, and ensure that their environmental, material, safety, and project needs are met. Organized Kaos is currently working out of 4 shops with over 40 mentors. OK is a team of volunteers and paid staff that truly care about the work they are doing, and we invite you to join the team. Project Management
● Building relationships with mentors
● Communicate consistently and ongoingly with mentors

● Picking up Donations (cars, construction material, tools)

Facilities Management
● Ensure the shops are cleaned
● Providing methodically organized shops
● Setting up new shops
● Working with shop owners to respect and improve their space.
● Making sure tools are in good working order
● Improving and creating systems
Shop Safety
● Securing WHMIS Safety Data Sheets for all products
● Establishing procedures for Tool safety
● Insuring PPE and First Aid is available
● Reviewing Health and Safety procedures
● Reviewing Fire Plans
● Improving and creating systems
Team Meetings
● Discussing life and work, including:
o Team devotion time
o Goal setting
o Assigning tasks and reviewing progress
