Responsibilities:
- Supervise and oversee the production team to ensure efficient and timely completion of production tasks
- Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members and monitor their progress
- Train new employees on production processes and procedures
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate production schedules and resolve any issues that may arise
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure adequate supply of materials for production
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement necessary changes
-Address Health and Safety issues
Requirements:
-Post-secondary education, or equivalent work experience in a related field
- Proven experience in a supervisory role (2 plus years) within a manufacturing or production environment (10 years)
-Experience working in a unionized environment
-Experience with Health and Safety
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of production processes, quality control, and safety regulations
- Proficient in using computer software and systems related to production management
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Salary: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
