Shop Technician

SHOP TECHNICIAN – CROSSFIELD, AB

Compressco Canada Inc. (a division of CSI Compressco) specializing in natural gas compression, is currently expanding our Service & Manufacturing Team.

Qualifications:

· Mechanically inclined.

· Gas compression and maintenance are considered an asset.

· Previous experience in a similar role preferred, but not required.

· A journeyman ticket would be considered an asset but not required.

· Instrumentation tubing experience.

· Clean class 5 driver’s license.

· Ability to clear a drug and alcohol screening & physical assessment.

Reporting to the Shop Supervisor, the ideal candidate’s duties will include, but are not limited to:

· Completion of daily tasks safely and in accordance with Compressco Canada’s safety policy and procedures.

· Pipe fitting, threaded, 1” and 2” pipe.

· Fabrication welding.

· Instrumentation tubing.

· Pneumatic pressure testing.

· General assembly

· Picking & recording correct part numbers.

· A variety of other small tasks, including shop cleanup and washing units.

· Ability to work unsupervised.

· Overtime as needed.

· Must be highly self-motivated.

· Excellent organizational skills.

· Ability to use a laptop/computer to complete various company programs.

This job will be based out of the Crossfield manufacturing facility.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $35.00-$37.00 per hour
