SUMMARY
To be able to perform all inspection and repair on service company flow line equipment as per inspection and repair procedures, shop procedures and safety guidelines.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Disassemble customer equipment
- Prepare equipment for sandblasting
- Sandblast
- Visually inspect equipment for signs of damage
- Perform ultrasonic testing
- Perform pressure testing
- Grind wings to specs
- Repair equipment
- Fill out paperwork (Progress Reports, Timesheets, and Records etc.)
- Reassemble equipment
- Paint
- Operate forklift
- Clean and maintain shop
- Participate in the maintenance and safety program
- Work overtime as required
- Help out in other inspection facilities as required
- Other duties may be assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Completion of assessments
- Grade 12 Education or equivalent
- Ability to do general mathematical calculations (discounts, mark ups, percentages, area and volume)
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety procedures, operating and maintenance procedures, customer standards and speak to customers
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Operate various machinery
- Frequently lift 10 to 100 pounds
- Operate power tools
- Don proper PPE comfortably
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Exposure to noise levels from moderate to high
- Outdoor weather conditions
- High pressure testing areas
- Electrically powered equipment
