Description:

The Site Coordinator will be based on the construction site and work under the supervision of the Project Manager. They will be key in providing administrative and technical support onsite, ensuring the construction site is functioning at full potential. They will need to perform tasks such as prepare and manage construction and delivery schedules, record site documentation, coordinate with various sub-contractors, supervise and report progress as well as other tasks to support the project team

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, coordinate, and track the look ahead schedules
  • Plan and execute the pull planning meetings with the subcontractors
  • Schedule the general labour, subcontractors, and deliveries
  • Coordinate with various architects, engineers, and consultants to schedule inspections at various steps of the project
  • Gather required documentation to satisfy the inspection reports
  • Track and report progress to the Project Manager
  • Track and report site inventory (material and equipment) – Material weekly / Equipment daily
  • Use Autodesk Build to create daily work reports and gather site photos
  • Perform internal inspections of the work and fire seals before closing the walls using the Autodesk Build app
  • Manage and maintain a list of deficiencies using the Autodesk Build app
  • Perform any verifications requested by the PM
  • Maintain and organize the construction documents in the site trailer; permits, plans, technical drawings, reports
  • Communicate information and questions to the PC to be transferred to the professionals as an RFI
  • Send written notices to PM and PC for issues and changes
  • Send written notices to subcontractors for cleaning and deficiencies
  • With the Superintendent, maintain a clean and organized site
  • Record site photos using Autodesk Build

  • Strong understanding of construction processes and scheduling
  • Effective communication skills in English and French – Written and oral

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1-2 years in construction (preferably on site)
  • Engineering or architecture tech (DEP or AEC)
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office software and various computer software’s
