Job description-Small Camp Cook/Bull Cook
Based out of Port McNeill, - Northern Vancouver Island-
*Must be able to start by April 8th
*Shift: 14 in and 7 out
*Crew size: 8-10 employees
*Departure Location: Port McNeill, BC- Must provide own transportation to Port McNeill
Qualifications and Experience:
*Red Seal Journeyman Chef Certification an Asset
*Previous camp experience an asset
*Food Safe Certificate
*Be able to lift/move up to 50lbs throughout a work shift
*Be able to work comfortably and maintain high levels of performance during a work shift
Details:
*Preparing, seasoning and cooking of all meals
*maintain high levels of food safety through strong culinary techniques
*ensure cleanliness standards are met throughout the cookhouse
*menu planning, budgeting and grocery order submission
*Preparing daily lunch table- daily- according for food safe practice
*cleaning off all rooms and bathrooms daily
*wash, dry, fold and store all laundry
*cleaning dry room daily- (crew's gear)
Job Type: Seasonal
Contract length: 6 months
Salary: $30.00 per hour
