Working with the Snack Bar Manager, the Snack Bar Supervisor is responsible for overseeing many aspects in the Club’s Snack Bar service and its staff, including inventory control, training and supervising. The Snack Bar Staff are responsible for preparing and serving food and drinks in the Snack Bar, taking orders and assisting members with any questions or requirements that they might have with the menus.
Duties and responsibilities
- Work closely with the Snack Bar Manager to control costs and maximize profitability in the department.
- Assist the Snack Bar Manger in training and staff discipline.
- Responsible for knowing the Club’s menus and specials, including the ingredients in the dishes, modifiers that can be made etc.
- Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of the Snack Bar, both on the member side and the food preparation area.
- Responsible for ensuring that orders are entered into the point of sale system quickly and accurately.
- Responsible for the preparation and cooking of all food items on the Snack Bar menu.
- Responsible for ensuring that orders are cooked and served in a timely manner.
- Responsible for informing the Snack Bar Manager when product levels are getting low.
- Establish and maintain rapport with members throughout the season, encouraging repeat business.
- Provide assistance to other departments as required.
- Other duties as assigned by the Snack Bar Manager
Qualifications
- Experience in the food service industry.
- Supervisory experience an asset.
- Ability to lead and motivate the Snack Bar Staff in all outlets.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure and tight deadlines, and always remain composed and professional.
- Must always possess a professional mannerism.
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to work as part of a team to meet and exceed the expectations of the members.
- A positive attitude.
- Confidence to bring new ideas forward for consideration.

Salary: From $18.00 per hour
