Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a Software Engineer to fill an integral role within the AssetWorks FleetFocus development department. The FleetFocus team is responsible for all UX design, web and mobile development, and exploring new technologies for new initiatives. The selected candidate will work as a member of the team developing advanced state-of-the-art innovative software products that will help shape the future of AssetWorks’ product offering. Essential skills for this position include front-end development with the use of Angular, JavaScript, CSS and HTML5, as well as back-end development with C# and SQL. Job Description:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop software products to support current business initiatives.
- Collaborate with team to solve complex bug verifications, release testing, and customer-specific beta software support.
- Perform on-site work and/or support the efforts of AssetWorks on-site personnel to support the implementation of software systems in complex customer environments.
- Consult with Project Managers, Quality Assurance and Support teams on a regular basis to support the development of AssetWorks products.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or a certificate from a technical training institute.

- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (preferred) or similar productivity suite
- Programming experience with HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX, C# and SQL
- Experience with source control (SVN, Git, etc.)
- Experience with creating APIs (SOAP, REST, GraphQL, etc.)
- A strong understanding of Design Patterns, Async/Await, and Interfaces
- Knowledge of current Model-View-Controller (MVC) architectural frameworks (e.g. Angular 2+, Kendo, Sencha). Experience with Angular 2+, Typescript, RxJS, and Electron are a plus.
- Experience in developing within the Agile framework (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.)
- Ability to think outside of the box and present creative solutions to development challenges.
- Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task and lead complex projects.
