We are looking for a Sprinkler Fitter Superintendentto join our team. The ideal candidate must be able to multitask and run several projects simultaneously, order material, schedule crews, work with the Project Manager to ensure the team finishes projects on time with all correct paperwork. Due to our clients requirement and unique nature of our work security clearance will be a requirement of the job.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Extensive knowledge fire protection and life safety systems
- Supervisory experience as a fire sprinkler foreman or supervisor
- Leadership skills, including ability to communicate, address personnel issues and make fair decisions related to project demands, customer service and employee assignments
- Ability to perform work in an efficient and organized matter and maintain thorough record keeping skills
- Ability to professionally communicate with customers and provide excellent customer service
- Establish and maintain communication with customers and other contractors pertaining to work schedules, progress reports, change orders, etc.
- Manage multiple projects and make recommendations in response to changing conditions to meet contract schedules
- Demonstrate positive teamwork and ability to be a team leader and mentor
- Attend to emergency calls.
- Travel will be required for this role.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Needed:
- Red Seal Journeyman Sprinkler Fitter
- Supervisory experience as a fire sprinkler foreman or supervisor
- Must have a good driving record.
- Must be able to pass background check.
- Fire Pump Operations and Maintenance Training certification required.
- Experience in testing and servicing Fire Pumps, PIV, Standpipes and Fire Hydrants, and Foam Systems.
- Experienced in the Service/ Repair of Wet and dry systems, deluge and specialty Fire Suppression Systems.
- Good oral/ written communications & Good computer skills (excel, word, bluebeam and dropbox)
- Knowledge of NFPA 25, NFPA 2001, NFPA 11, and NFPA 20 the Standard for Inspection, Testing, and Maintenance of Water-Based Fire Protection systems.
- ITM Course and Hire Hydrant Course is required.
- CFAA is an asset.
- Fire extinguisher certification is an asset.
