Sr. Cost Accountant

Our client in the manufacturing and wholesale distribution industry sector is searching for a Senior Cost Accountant to work on a 2 month contract. The key responsibilities of the Senior Cost Accountant are:

• Review inventory costing and inventory management

• Undertake SKU analysis

• Create Bill of Materials (“BOM”)

• Undertake financial analysis and develop KPI's

• Initiate ERP audit of inventory

Requirements

The ideal individual is a designated accountant (CPA or equivalent) or CFA with strong cost accounting experience.

In addition to the above, the following skills and experience are also desired:

• Strong Power BI and financial analytics experience

• Proven Inventory management experience

• Excellent communication skills

• Thoughtful and easy to work with

• Able to work in a small company environment

• Data-driven and analytical

• Sound business acumen

• Self-starter and quick learner

• Advanced Excel skills
