Duties:
- Perform all duties in accordance with infection control and decontamination methods;
- Properly sterilize all dental instruments and equipment in accordance with office workflow, infection control and risk management processes;
- Perform all opening, closing and maintenance procedures as described in sterilization and maintenance policies;
- Perform all maintenance procedures and logbooks;
- Restock and maintain an inventory of dental supplies and instruments in order to ensure that required inventory is always available;
- Maintain order and cleanliness in the sterilization area and common areas;
- Perform spore testing and maintain a log of the results;
- Maintain proper pre-set trays and ensure they are ready for anticipated procedures;
- Assist clinical staff in optimizing patient flow. This will include restocking items, cleaning operatories, and ‘floating’, as needed;
- Demonstrate understanding and apply working knowledge of safety policies and ensuring safe member practices; and
- Safely performs all duties; follows required protective protocols to ensure personal safety as well the safety of others.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent;
- Previous experience as a Sterilization Technician preferred;
- Familiarity with orthodontic instruments and procedures is desired;
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately;
- Excellent organizational and time management skills; and
- Ability to work well in a team environment.

Salary: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
