Store Clerk

Part time positions available as well.

• Assist with all opening and closing procedures including the cash out procedures
• Assist customers with merchandise information and purchases as required
• Take product orders from customers and place orders as required
• Restock inventory in store daily; ensure that the coolers and freezers are filled,

shelves stocked, etc.

• Ensure that the ice cream scoop water is clear; change if it is not
• Keep the back room fridge and storage room organized and tidy
• Keep the store clean; includes cleaning the windows, coolers, floors, tables inside

and outside, shelves, counters, etc.; dust and/or wipe down merchandise on shelves

and on displays, wipe down cupboards behind counter

• Mop the floor daily and wipe the coffee machine daily
• Keep the washrooms inside of the store building clean and stocked with

necessary supplies

• No dishes are to be left unwashed in the sinks; they need to be washed immediately
• Wipe down the tables and chairs on the outside deck daily; ensure that all garbage

is picked up; empty garbage bags as needed but at least at the end of each day

• Ensure the ice cream tubs are rinsed thoroughly before disposing them in the garbage
• Garbage is to be removed throughout the day and put into the garbage shed
• May be asked to help with marina duties, such as clean boats and pump gas when work is slow.

Job is ideal for student who wants to spend there summer at the cottage or on the water. Very friendly place to work.

Salary: $17.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18 – 44 per week
