Store Manager – Portage La Prairie Branch
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is ready to join our team. The Store Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the store, its staff, customer relations and sales performance.
Your duties will include:
- Managing and building strong customer relationships with our existing contractor and retail customers
- Managing and increasing our brand awareness
- Recruiting, managing and developing our team orientated employees’ skills and competencies
- Monitoring and maintaining inventory levels
- Provide timely and accurate sales and estimates to both contractor and retail customers as required
- Ensuring a safe work environment by adhering to our Health and Safety policies and procedures both in store and on site
The successful candidate will:
- Show commitment to delivering outstanding customer service
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail team environment is essential
- Provide knowledgeable advice, service and overall account management
- Ability to develop team members
- Comply with all company policies and procedures including the Health and Safety program
- Previous experience is preferred and knowledge of building materials is an asset but not required
- Display a desire to expand on their knowledge and skill set
- Supervises and manages team members while developing employees’ skills and competencies
- Have a valid class 5 drivers license
