Storeperson

• Kalgoorlie residential role
• Permanent position, 40 hours per week

Work within the stores team in our Kalgoorlie blast and paint yard, in a full-time position managing procurement, supply of materials, consumables, plant and equipment needs.

You will be responsible for a variety of duties such as;

• Maintaining all materials, plant and equipment in a tidy accessible state in the store
• Purchasing materials, minor plant and equipment
• Manage the checking of shipments when they arrive to ensure the orders have been correctly filled and the goods meet specifications
• Ensuring equipment and machinery is calibrated, serviced and maintained
• Monitor in-house inventory movement and complete inventory transfer forms for accounting purposes
• Incoming/outgoing deliveries – this may include site travel
• Assisting yardman and mechanic when required
• General yard maintenance associated with housekeeping and stores

ABOUT YOU

• Current HR drivers licence - preferred
• Current high risk forklift licence
• Current telescopic handler ticket
• Construction white card
• Intermediate Excel and outlook skills (spreadsheets and emails)
• Stores experience
• Logistics or similar background preferred
• Strong team player, proactive and reliable with high safety standards
