Stores Supervisor (Full-Time)
Position Summary:
Winnipeg Clinic is looking for a full-time Stores Supervisor, Monday to Friday 8:00am-4:30pm (Hours may be subject to change).
Qualifications and Skills:
Minimum one (1) year experience as a Supervisor required
Previous experience in supply chain/inventory or stores management preferred
Previous experience in Clinic Management
Previous related experience in Medical Device Reprocessing preferred
Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook and Inventory Systems
Excellent organizational/multitasking, communication, and interpersonal skills
Duties and Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
Maintains the Winnipeg Clinic’s general office supplies and medical stores supplies to ensure adequate stock levels at all times
Oversees and facilitates the processing of laundry, linens (e.g., lab coats, bed sheets, towels etc.) and safe medical waste disposal through 3rd party vendors
Facilitates the purchase and/or lease of specialty medical equipment for the clinic by acquiring quotes through approved vendors for review/approval
Creating standard operating procedures to improve efficiencies and establishing cost-effective practices
Leading and providing Supervision to Medical Stores/Reprocessing Clerks and conducting performance reviews as required
Oversee and participates in the orientation, training and continuing education of Medical Stores/Reprocessing Clerks
Responsible for updating Medical Stores/Reprocessing departmental manuals
Monitors/tracks inventory and usage per department/section for year-end accuracy
Receives stock and ensures proper storekeeping in accordance with safety practices and procedures
Receives requisitions and issues stock to respective departments/sections as required and limits wastage
Rotates inventory and performs regular inventory counts and audits of Stores Department and all supply storage areas throughout the clinic
Building and maintaining relationships with vendors/suppliers and negotiating the best possible supply and/or service contracts
Conducts investigation of shortages and overages
Liaise closely with physicians, managers/supervisors, staff and other departments of the organization in a respectful, collaborative manner to meet operational needs
Liaise with new physicians during on-boarding process to order supplies and any approved specialty medical equipment to support their practice
Provide oversight of new/existing equipment ensuring an asset list is maintained and that they are in good working order and connecting with vendors to facilitate needed repairs
Must be able to perform all medical device reprocessing duties and provide coverage for medical stores/reprocessing staff when needed
Work closely with the Financial Department to ensure accuracy of purchase orders, invoices and payments
Liaise with the Building Maintenance Department for delivery of supplies and delivery/installation of medical equipment
Participation in committees as required

Salary: $21.12-$25.08 per hour
