Your Key Responsibilities
- Operate a minimum of one production process performing single and/or multiple functions, which may include CNC or manually controlled equipment. Perform set ups on machines when training allows.
- Perform problem solving and troubleshoot to resolve production/process issues to meet required standards.
- Responsible for quality and quantity of work produced by process/machine.
- Routinely check process/machine for basic maintenance and take correction action in a timely matter.
- Required to perform inspection of own work using precision measuring equipment as provided or directed to determine quality of work.
- Follow and accurately record data as directed or required in routers, IMS and any other production tracking systems.
- May be required to work in other departments or occasionally, to set up a machine for others to operate.
- Ability to read and interpret production prints.
- Requires adequate computer skills to access production procedures to perform the required work.
- Responsible for excellent housekeeping and maintaining 5S in all areas.
- Meet the skill requirements identified in the applicable training matrix and maintain certification through company Certified Operator Program.
Your Qualifications
- Completion of Grade 12 OSSD or equivalent
- Currently in College/University and plans to return in the Fall
