The Summer Outreach Student supports Summer Outreach and programming at Bruce County Public Library under the direction of the Assistant Branch Supervisor – Bookmobile. This position presents programming and promotes and provides Library Services at events throughout Bruce County, including on days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. The Summer Outreach Student is a support to the Assistant Branch Supervisor – Bookmobile and rides along in the vehicle to promote and provide programming and services.

To be eligible you must meet the requirements of the Canada Summer Jobs grant.

• One year post-secondary education completed
• Experience planning, promoting, and presenting programs
• Strong communication skills, including written, verbal, and listening skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong customer service skills
• Valid Ontario Driver’s license
