Summer Convenience Store Manager

Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Manager to oversee the operations of our summer retail store. The Store Manager will be responsible for managing a team, ensuring excellent customer service, and managing inventory levels. This is a key leadership role within our organization.

Duties:
- Manage and supervise a team of retail associates, providing guidance and support
- Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and achieve revenue targets
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure proper stock management
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations in a professional manner
- Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and updates
- Train new employees on store policies, procedures, and product knowledge
- Perform cash handling duties, including opening and closing registers
- Oversee visual merchandising to create an appealing store environment
- Collaborate with the marketing team to implement promotional activities

Experience:
- Previous experience in a retail management role
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Proficient in budgeting and financial management
- Knowledge of the local market trends and competition
- Strong math skills for inventory management and cash handling
- Proficiency in using Point of Sale (POS) systems
- Administrative skills for record keeping and reporting

Contract length: 4 months

Salary: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 44 per week
