- Month-end general ledger account reconciliations,
- Assistance with implementation of new software initiatives,
- Back-up support for Finance Clerks during vacation & peak transactional cycles,
- Documentation and creating training documents (related to above duties),
- Data entry and filing,
- Other duties as assigned.
- Minimum Grade 12 and must be returning to a post-secondary school,
- Working towards an Accounting Diploma, or equivalent,
- Exceptional communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills,
- Good organization and time management skills,
- Excellent computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Applications with a focus on Excel and Word,
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment and to prioritize to meet inflexible deadlines.
- Experience in an office environment preferred, ideally with exposure to accounting procedures.
- Scheduled 35 work week (Monday – Friday) in office
- May be required to work overtime.
