Accounting & Finance Summer Student

Our Dream Team is excited to be hiring for a Summer Student!

Castle Property Management manages vacation rentals throughout Prince Edward County, and Greater Napanee.

Tasks:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Conduct financial audits to ensure compliance with regulations and identify areas for improvement
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including entering receipts, invoice processing, payment reconciliation, and collections
- Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, monitoring actual performance against targets
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial analysis and support for business decisions
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records

Qualifications
- Current 2nd-4th year full time student, studying for Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Proven experience/knowledge
- Knowledge of corporate finance principles and financial accounting standards
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Solid understanding of budgeting and financial forecasting processes
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Salary: $21.50-$24.00 per hour
