KML Windows Inc., a division of Andersen Corporation, is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst to assist our Scheduling and Procurement teams in identifying and solving problems, while continuing to drive CI activity on internal scheduling tools. You will maintain daily production schedules across all value streams, actively slotting/levelling production within known constraints while proactively identifying risks and provide insights to support resolution.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Develop, optimize, and integrate detailed production schedules/supplier plans in a lean
environment, to achieve the business goals.
· Role is primarily transactional with additional focus on driving continuous improvement.
· Identify, implement, and lead business tool and process enhancements (continuous
process improvement) by utilizing lean tools such as Kanban, 5Y, Plan-Do-Check-Act,
Value Stream Mapping, and A3 thinking.
· Perform Supply Chain analytics involved in advanced scheduling and material planning
including capacity analyses, and make recommendations regarding overtime, capacity,
changeovers, etc. Provide necessary data and reporting to support value
stream/functional initiatives.
· Participate in Supply Chain projects within the value stream (plan, source, make, deliver);
develop and complete project work plans; facilitate the creation and maintaining of value
stream/process maps.
· Facilitate cross-functional teams and meetings with having explicit objectives and scope.
· Coordinate information and material flow within the value stream including assembly,
fabrication, and corporate partners.
· Perform root cause analysis and drive corrective actions for problems across Supply
Chain processes.
· Other duties across the plant as needed as directed by supervision or management.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
· Minimum of a College Diploma in Supply Chain or a 2-year Associates Degree in
engineering, business, or technology.
· Demonstrated advanced Microsoft suite skills, particularly excel.
· 2 to 5 years’ experience across multiple Supply Chain disciplines with a focus on
scheduling.
· Knowledge and experience with ERP systems, data mining and data reporting.
· Previous manufacturing operations experience preferred.
· Proficient in utilizing lean tools and methodology for problem solving and continuous
improvement, including Pull, 5Y, PDCA, A3 thinking, and waste elimination.
· Demonstrate a positive attitude and build strong working relationships with internal
and/or external customers.
· Strong aptitude in problem identification and takes the initiative to solve customer
problems and delivers what the customer is promised.
· Demonstrate strong presentation skills.
· Effective written and verbal communication skills and listening techniques.
· Strong computer skills with experience using Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
· Possess strong organizational, attention to detail and analytical skills.
· Supports organizational change (e.g., asks questions, abandons past ways of doing
things, etc.).
· Demonstrate a sense of urgency to complete work on schedule.
· Ability to perform repetitive work/tasks.
· Dependability/punctuality.
