Job Type: Full-time, Permanent starting hourly rate: Commencing at $21.25 per hour Shift Availibility:8-hour Shifts (8am to 4pm ) Monday -Friday Location: Stony Plain, AB.

Role Overview: As a residential Supervisor at I Have a Chance Support Services Ltd., you will lead a dedicated team in providing essential support to individuals with mental health challenges in our agency. Your role includes program development, client support, and staff coordination. By fostering a positive environment, overseeing daily operations, and ensuring effective communication, you play a crucial part in empowering individuals on their journey to independence. Key Responsibilities
- Act as a liaison between our organization and community members, client family members, case workers, and relevant stakeholders.
- Supervise and lead a team of community Support Workers and Behavior Support Workers.
- Uphold program quality assurance standards along with collaborating in the development of client programs.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of required reporting and oversee staff scheduling.
- Price and timely management of client and household budgets.
- Availability for after-hours on-call duties as required.
- Participation in Person-Centered Plan meetings while creating meaningful daily schedules tailored to individual client needs.
- Contribution to the development and implementation of Support Plans.
- Ensure all medical appointments and health concerns are addressed promptly.
- Maintain consistent communication with the clients support network.
- Facilitate and Orientation of new employees with shadowing their work.
- Address the staff concerns and provide them with support.
Qualifications
- Accredited Post Secondary education in a relevant field or 4 years’ experience in related field.
- A minimum of 4 Years' experience in Community Disability Services or similar roles.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle.
- Clean Driver abstracts and document proof of insurance.
- Vulnerable Sector Check and Child Intervention Record Check.
- Demonstrated aptitude in working with diverse populations.
- Proficiency in collaborative teamwork.
- Expertise in working with diverse or vulnerable population.
- Flexibility to accommodate various shifts, including weekends and overnights.
